Name recognition, and that's it.
Obama is very well known among people who follow politics, but in the public at large, he's still pretty much an unknown, particularly outside the Midwest. Hillary, on the other hand, is a household name.
Obama is outraising Hillary, despite considerably less name recognition, and he's doing it with a smaller average donation, which means he's connecting with the grassroots. The big dogs are still backing Hillary, because many of them are family friends dating back to the Clinton presidency ... but once it becomes clear that Obama is the people's choice, Hillary's support will evaporate.
I think Hillary would make an awesome president; unfortunately for her, she's up against a guy who I believe will one day be talked about in the discussion of the greatest presidents ever.
